our story
This heritage bungalow was built in 1968 by Mandhappan, a man known for his vision and character. Set in the heart of Wayanad, he designed the house with traditional style and strong materials, making it a landmark in the area. His family lived here for many years, and the place became a part of their identity.In 1995, the property was bought by Musthafa. He and his family continued the legacy, living here for two decades. Surrounded by nature and peace, they realized the place had something special. That’s when the idea of turning it into a homestay came to life—to let others experience its charm.Years later, Prashanth came to Wayanad for work. When he visited the bungalow, he felt a deep connection to it. He decided to take it over, and along with his wife Bindhu, began a new chapter. For the past 9 years, they’ve been running the resort with care and love—keeping its history alive while welcoming guests from all over.
